Production of optical cables with the fiber diameter of 200 microns

In May 2018, we successfully completed testing of a range of optical cables with optical fiber with a diameter of 200 microns.
As is commonly known, until recently, the standard for most optical fibers was a diameter of 250 microns.
Developed and successfully certified optical fiber with a diameter of 200 microns allows to improve the performance of cables, reduce cable dimensions, improve reliability and service life of the cable.
This was preceded by a lot of work on the development of new optical cables with two-hundred-micron fiber.
