The FTTH Conference/Exhibition is organized by the FTTH Council Europe. This association was created in 2004 by five organizations: Alcatel-Lucent, Cisco, Corning, Emtelle and OFS. Today the association includes 150 members. The FTTH Council Europe itself is part of the FTTH Council Global Alliance (which also includes the FTTH Council Africa, FTTH Council Americas, FTTH Council Americas LATAM Chapter, FTTH Council Asia Pacific and FTTH Council Middle East and North Africa).
In 2019, this event was attended by about 3,000 people from 94 countries, including Kazakhstan. Over 3 days, 14 sessions were held, 155 speakers spoke, and the amount of valuable information was overwhelming. The conference discussed the topics of new products in the field of optical networks, the planned development in Europe and beyond and the latest achievements in the field.
