10STp-SL-M and 10STpu-SL-M closures using heat-shrinkable materials and interfacial plastic filler.
Closure set includes:
Cable conductors with impregnated paper insulation are coated with an insulation tube. The electric field intensity around the conductor joints is equalized using special mastics with high dielectric constant and sealed with heat-shrinkable tubes.
The equalization of the electric field intensity in the cable sheath end is made with the use of special tape with high dielectric constant. The space between the conductors, as well as the space between the conductors and the sheath, is filled with plastic compound, which provides sealing of the connected conductors and blocking the oil-rosin composition, as well as the necessary resistance of the closure against shock short-circuit currents. The sheath ends are sealed with heat-shrinkable sleeve joints. The insulation of the joint is carried out with the use of heat-shrinkable tubes. With the help of a grounding wire, spring rings and soldering, a reliable connection of the sheaths is created, which is resistant to short circuit currents. For mechanical protection, a thick-walled heat-shrinkable tube is used.
The design and installation of the 10STpu-SL-M closure are similar to the previous description for the 10STp-SL-M closure. The difference is the absence of interfacial plastic compound.
The 10STp-SL-M closure is tested in accordance with GOST 13781.0-86.
The eks-10SKR-SL-M closure corresponds to ST TOO 143-1930-10-16-26-2012 and meet the requirements of GOST 13781.0-86.
The 10STp-SL-M joining closure is designed to connect cables with an aluminum or lead sheath, with impregnated paper insulation for 6 and 10 kV voltage, operated at an ambient temperature from -50º С to +50º С, with a relative air humidity of up to 80 %, in cable structures or in the ground.
At the customer’s request, the sets can be supplied without sleeves or with sleeves for crimping for copper or aluminum conductors.
